In this age of emails and text messaging, the practice of sending mail and letters has all but vanished. The latter end of the baby boomers may still long for the days before fax machines, laptops and iphones, but the younger generation only knows this faster way of communication.
One thing that continues to exist, while not necessariy growing, is the practice of sending Christmas and Holiday greeting cards. Many of us still like to hang cards over the fireplace, or on the walls of our offices or cubicles.
